Hi all.

been swaping my tdo4 for a td05 today on my bugeye wrx, fitted the td05 and started to rebuild, come to fit the water cooling pipes and theyre too small! the banjo bolts are too small for the threads on the turbo, if i was to fit bigger banjo bolts they the wouldnt fit through the water pipes!

Grrr was told its a staright swap with no probs, need sort it asap its being mapped nxt weekend.

How do you go around this, is there an adapter or replacement pipes and banjo's???

am goin to try pirtek monday see if they have a solution, any info or advise will be apreciated

I feel for you mate, this happened to me. The guy i bought the turbo off ebay said he was posting it WITH the pipes...but suprise suprise when it got here they had magically disapeared. TD05's ARE a straight swop if the seller is kind enough to sell you the coolant pipes with it too!!

anyway, if you go on ebay, JAWarehouse they sell kits on there. ebay number 320179275039. ALTHOUGH - they are not brilliant, they dont fit perfect, but they did the job for me. and for only 15 notes not bad.

Other than that, try some breakers etc. hope that is some help mate.

cheers mate, yes was sold this as a 'ready to fit' turbo its well annoying , if knew this would be a issue would have replaced the pipes first.

just found that jaw warehouse tho takes 5-9 days posting its got to be mapped nxt weekend

if you got the banjo bolts for td05 can you just open up td04 coolant pipes so the bigger bolts fitthrough them, banjo bolts should be easier to get in a hurry than the pipes
