Should bearing on flywheel be changed
HI all as above, even if it feels ok? what short of work does it do?

Personally id change it just for the sake of a few quid, compare that to taking the box off should it wear out before the clutch does.
Mine was worn so it got replaced the same time as the clutch, id assume it helps the flywheel spin smoother, though i could be mistaken.

it's there to support the end of the input shaft of the gearbox

as above an personally if the box is out then change it would be a shame to do what your doing then have to remove in 2 months time just for a couple of pound bearing
