hi my motors loud as hell very deep burble on a 94 wrxsti with a straight to cat pipe with large 5inch tail was wondering if i decated the up pipe would it get stupid in terms of noise and is there a noticable performace gain ? thanks

94 shouldn't have a cat on the up-pipe

Sorry should have read that properly there is only 1 cat on early imports (at least) and that is the downpipe.

yes soz ment downpipe was just bit worried bout setting alarms off etc do at mo now and again also can the old bill pull me on it ?

my mate was followed and pulled over for having an exhaust not to the officers liking 9HKS super drager with decat) and was warned that next time he would get a section 59 next time.

You should not be worried about setting alarms off mate, your car you do what you like with it
