forged pistons, uprated rods if going for big power, bigger injectors 740cc, uprated fuel regulator SX, parallel fuel mod, catch can, uprated clutch, better suspension, uprated brakes/pads and above

Surely that list is dependant on useage of the car.

If he is just sticking with the std block for a road car, then parallel fuel mod, FPR and catch can are irrelevant.

The rest depends on the turbo that will be going on it and the power/torque targets.

i would like to hit 400 really, i bought it from a bloke at motorcity, hes got an evo on a 57 plate running 750bhp with a 2.3 stoker kit, seemed to know what he was talking about. he built it for a friend who wrote there scoob off before he had a chance to fit it. does the standard sti block come with ceramic topped pistons? as i am sure mine has.

Tony,

I don't recognise those pistons. They aren't the same as the normal EJ257 STi, they seem to have a very small dish volume, so they could be from a normally aspirated engine.

I would suggest you check the engine a little more, before spending time, and money building it up.

Mark.
