As above im planning on a good road/track suspension setup. just concentrating on handling at the mo so what do you guys reconmend? i want to change as much as possible ive already got front and rear strut braces rear whitline arb and droplinks and front whitline droplinks. think im going for tein superstreets but what else would you guys reconmend to make it feel more planted ?

Which Impreza is it?

Assuming a classic:

Go for Coil-overs of a make which can deliver the RIGHT spring and damper characteristics. ie AST single adjustment with 50/40 Fr/Rr rates.
Contact Powerstation and ask for Curtis.
Fit good top mounts, AST/Noltec or the great new Whiteline ones. This will afford max caster in the front end, ALK if you really want everything + rear top mounts.
Camberbolts all round.
Poly bush the entire chassis and rear diff mounts.
Full rear subframe locking kit/bolts.
Roll center mod from Whiteline to front, 4 x adjustable lower rear track bars.
Quick rack with poly bushes.

Alignment by one who know, and IMHO are are not that many with broad experience.

Fit really good tyres, not just popular good mileage brands. If you want real grip for the road go to Kumho V70.
Will last about 3000 miles tops but sure do grip.

That spec fully done, not piecemeal and time spent seriously adjusting the dampers to suit the springs and adjusting the bars to suit YOU will result in a killer chassis.

To do this fit a snug-fit racing seat (you can use the stock seat belt) which will sit you much lower in the shell and will grip you so well that you really do drive by the seat of your pants.

Then you can max the power you have/increase it and add brakes.

ALK with adjustable top mounts adds even more caster.
