Default AFR required???

Just fitted a 3"bell mouth decat down pipe, HKS panel filter and Blitz DBSC to my '99 EJ20.
The boost controller is just set to run at a steady 12psi (standard boost) and im running 97 ron BP ultimate. Driving style 90% of the time is never over 4.5K rpm and only on boost for around 15 -20 secs max ( to overtake lorries).

Should I as a precaution get the car AFR'd as ive heard the ecutek maps dont cover higher boost levels at lower revs.

Any recommendations appreciated.
Cheers
Andy

Its always a good idea to check the fueling and ignition when adding anything that may make the engine breath differently.

A rolling road session would be good, although you would only gain info.

A mapping session would correct any areas of the map that were lean/rich or that require ign changes.

Do you have an AFR meter yourself? Either a narrowband that would give "some" info or a wideband that would give a better reading.

Wayne.

EcuTek can access all the fuel, ignition and boost maps (but won't be controlling the boost if you have a boost controller but that is not an issue)..

Car should need remapping with those mods to keep it safe and get the most out of it
