Default Will STI Bug seats fit???

Will a set of STI 2001 BUG seats fit my 1999 face lift Scooby?
I have been told they will but the front seats are higher.
If you have put a set in your car have you any comments of fitting?
and what is it like to drive after fitting, is it worth it> as the looks are so much better than my seats.
Thanks ... ED

just put these in my 94 classic, yeah front seats are a bit higher, they fit straight in although front seats dont you all original bolts, there are 2 bolts at the back of the front seats on inside nearest gearbox normally, but the later seats only use 1, back seats go straight in, although the centre holding clip on the rear seat back needs to be extended slightly ( i just used a piece of metal plate) as the seats backs are slightly higher in the rear to, the bottom bolts dont line up with standard original holes, but if you look slightly higher there is a piece of tape that once removed reviels another thread that is perfect

I just fitted some bug eye seats in my classic the other day.

First thing get your old seats out, remove the seat belt sockets and swap them onto the new bug eye seats, as the bug eye seatbelt socket don't work with your classic seat belts.

As the previous chap said, the rear of the front seats only have one bolt hole compared to the origional two but its not less secure once its done up.

Rember to re-connect the wire from the underside of the drivers seat to the wiring in the floor, without it the warnig siren keeps on buzzing.

Thats about it, not too difficult.

The rear bench pretty much goes striaght in, you just need to fettle around with the top bracket alittle bit.

Job, looks alot better, not as deep as the classic's bucket seats and more comfortable in my eyes. I got the added bonus of the hight adjustment lever on my seats so the hight can be adjusted to suit, bonus.
