STRANGE BOOST ISSUE!!!!!!!
Hi,
I’ve got a bit of a problem with my car and boost! I’ve asked around a few places already, but have had 3-4 different answers so was hoping someone else might have had the same issue and point me in the right direction; before I go spending anymore money on bits that aren’t needed!
Basically, my car was running absolutely fine, boosting correctly and pulling like a train, but now I can’t achieve target boost and I get what seems like fuel cut!
The boost levels I’m seeing on the avcr are approx .3 below what they should be! i.e setting A should = 1.6, but cuts at 1.3 and with it turned off I can’t even reach standard pressure without it happening!
It does this in 2 and third definitely, I haven’t tried in 1st, 4th or 5th as I don’t wish to provoke fuel cut.
Any ideas very welcome.
Thanks.
P.S. The car is running a Power FC and an up-rated turbo all of which are new, but have been told the no.1 contender is a faulty actuator?
