Default Boost and Vacuum gauges not reading right!

Last night me CEL came on, so i opened the bonnet and had a poke around.
I have an A pillar pod with two gauges in it, one for boost and one for vacuum.
The vacuum pipe had split where the t piece for the gauge is, so i replaced the pipe and put it back together, started the car and the CEL didnt come on!(thank ****).

Warmed her up and took the missus back to hers, on the way i noticed the boost gauge was reading -6 bar at tick over(usually -10), and the vacuum gauge was reading - 20 hg(usually -30).

Car drives and boosts ok, but seems to have gained a bit of a thirst for fuel!

I am slightly worried about this as ive never had a problem in 12 months(almost to the day) of ownership!

Is it air caught in the gauge pipes?

Is it something to worry about?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!!

You have a leak in your vacuum lines. Most likely the hose that had split has another split in a less obvious place. Or you could have left another hose disconnected as you were poking around.

If using nylon tees then check that it isn't starting to tear open.
