hi guys got an import classic wrx
how many litres shouldpetrol tank hold ? 50 ?
heard some models have different size tanks ?
i seem 2 get to the red then fill up 2 the brim and only ever put in 40 litres max ! probably petrol guage not 100% accurate ?

That sounds about right. My 94 WRX holds about the same as that.

The fuel tank is 60 Litres. You need to be braver with the fuel gauge.

thanks m8 was hoping some1 would tell me that thought be more than 40 L
only doing about 190 miles until get 2 red
dodgy guage then its so annoying not having a petrol light !

In my car with the fuel needle horizontal i.e. on the very last bar, I can get ~45 Litres in.
The bravest I've been is to have the needle pointing to the middle line of the E (off the bottom of the scale), and then I got ~53 Litres in. I suppose it's a safety measure to stop people running out of petrol since there's no low fuel warning light.
FYI the non-turbo Imprezas (classics) have 50L tanks and also spec C's (newage).

My MY98 WRX has a 60 litre tank AFAIK. I've had it with the light on and just below the line before and stuck over 50+ litres in, I can't remember exactly how much it was.
