Default Legacy--->impreza engines

how different is a legacy 2.0 single turbo from a 2.0 wrx impreza engine? both from 1993s more bothered about which turbos internal differences cooling etc

very similar.. some head differences.. although some early Impreza, but not all of them appear to have the Legacy heads.. they have two bolt coil packs rather than one.. both TD05 turbos if I remember correctly.. been a while since I have seen a standardish Legacy

the genuine legacy single turbo should have a closed deck block with piston squirters and a VF12 turbo..

The Legacy also came with a Charge Cooler as standard......

Would I be correct in saying the Tappets were different ? (inherently they seem to be/get noisey on a leggy) - not so sure about the Imp.

the early imp also suffers that but the heads are slightly different, no idea if tappets are diff other than both hydraulic and therefore can be noisy.. better oil may help

550quid legacy or s3 wi 50k in it lol just made the purchase collecting it tomorrow.. mods begin tomo evening!
