It's probably the best SUL that you can get at the mo, I believe it has the best octane rating out of all of the fuel manufacturers, but i could be mistaken.....

In fact higher octane could actually mean better mpg, because you are burning the fuel more efficiently. So in one of life's great paradox's, on the basis of 'green' fuels, SUL should actually be cheaper (if you believe the government when they say they are taxing fuel for its impact on the environment ) than normal unleaded, but it ain't so tough

You can find Optimax locations at this URL:-
http://www2.shell.com/home/Framework?siteId=uk-en&FC1=&FC2=&FC3=%2Fuk-en%2Fhtml%2Fiwgen%2Fyourcarormotorbike%2FOptimax%2 Ffilling_up_with_optimax_3011_1113.html&FC4=&FC5=
It's a bit messy, but it works.

Its a 97ron rated petrol with a fuel additive to acheive the 98.6 figure. So it's not advised to run Optimax plus an octane booster. As I found out. Info comes from a Shell employee
