turbo spinning on idle

turbo spinning on idle
on idle my car runs slightly lumpy, and makes a spitting sound through the de-cat down pipe, when i turn it off i can hear the turbo winding down, is that right? ive never heard it before on any other impreza's.

yes that is correct, turbo spins on idle..
other problem sounds like a misfire.. examine plugs.. should all be same colour etc.. worth cleaning and trying etc
