Default Breather hoses

Does anybody know if you can remove the breather hose from induction elbow?
i've attached a pic showing the hoses i mean

yes you can.... re route the breather pipe to a catch can or if a tight wad to under the car,block the resulting holes up in the induction pipe to prevent any ummetered dirty air getting in

Not sure about the larger pipe of the two thats shown as its different to my set up....

cheers mate. thats like a plastic pipe your on about. it isn't a very good fit on the induction elbow and is leaking a bit of oil.

anymore opinions?

That is the same as mine (95 wrx), I have vented them both to atmosphere and capped the remaining holes on the inlet.

and i take it you haven't had problems like excessive oil breathing or running problems

Will run better if the oily residue is not entering the inlet charge,so if anything its a posative move to do.........
