Default 01 Bugeye Idle Speed

Hi all

Can anyone out there tell me the correct idle speed for an 01 Bugeye WRX?

Mine idles at 500 which seems low compared to other cars i have owned.....I also have an intermittent yet damn annoying misfire at idle.

I dont know if the two are related or not but it would nice if anyone has any ideas

thanks

andrew

Should idle at about 750rpm, although note that the guage is a bit misleading : 0-500 revs takes up about 2mm on the guage !

My to is 500 and just bought it! Mines had a few things done to it though. Exhaust, dump valve, chipped, induction kit, and goes bloody perfect!!

hi all

thanks for the replys.

I changed the exhaust back from the prodrive one i had on it to the original and all is fine again.

Its most odd though as i didnt think an exhaust would be the cause of the misfire on idle!
