Default Aftermarket recirculating dump valves

The other day whilst driving my scoob (a bit hard ) the standard recirculating dump valve sounded pretty cool on high revs gear changes, now I don't want to fit an atmospheric dump valve cos I'm not after the 'Ooooh look at me I've got a turbo!!' but I thought it would be nice to just have the same noise that the standard recirc dump valve give but just a tad bit louder.

So my question is, would fitting an aftermarket recirculating dump valve give this? and are there any other advantages to fitting one? and if so, what make should I be looking at? don't want bailey or anything like that really, would prefer a jap make if poss.

Cheers!

A Forge recirc is what you want. Mine made a wicked metallic sound on every dump. That was with an airbox. With an induction kit on it was more like the sound of clashing swords every time you let off...ker-ching! Not too loud but just wicked sounding.

Nice one, cheers lads, I did think of Forge, I know they are normally a bit better than Bailey and being a re-circulating dump valve I shouldn't get any idle or any other problems that normally come with a VTA dump valve. So that sounds like the sort of answer I was after, just after a slightly more audible note, thats all.

Cheers for the replies!
