Lots of people have - he's one of the top Impreza mappers.

I've had my car mapped by him twice. Top bloke.

Yes. Me and loadsa other folk. He's highly respected.

When I took my car to a rolling road after mapping, the conversation between the operator and myself went along these lines :

RR Operator - "Well, whoever mapped this car knew what they were doing, the air/fuel ratio is spot on"

Me - "It was Andy F"

Op - "Ok, that explains it"

Scotsman : nice to see that you have been very thorough in listing all your car's mods in your plus profile -

Vf35

Parrott bluetooth handsfree kit

But which gives more power ?

Ecutek software which calculates bhp and torque, so Andy can give you an estimated figure at the time.

I should point out that Andy's figure was only 2bhp off the figure I got a few weeks later at Dastek !

Get weighed the morning you go. Helps to know what weight the car is lugging for the bhp estimation!

great guy, i spent ages thinking i'd gone to the wrong place though, no signs outside!

If Andy is mapping an Apexi power fc he wont be using ecutek, so wont be able to use that to estimate the bhp / torque. Although i would reckon he would have a good idea just from driving it and how it feels.

The Apexi Power FC can be mapped to give a degree of pops and bangs with the odd flame on overrun but not full anti-lag.
