Default Oil Leak

Hey guys

Was driving home from work last night and when i pulled up at home smoke started coming through the vents in the bonnet!!! Lifted it up to find the whole right hand side of the engine bay cover in oil. Now i was going fairly quick on the way home but nothing stupid, so what could have caused this?
The oil was down to the bottom mark after this so it lost quite a bit but the oil light never came on.

I have filled her up again and when i started her no oil comes out.

Please help guys!

ahhhh don't say that!!! i was thinking that but the engine has less that 5000 miles on it since it was rebuilt, shouldn't go that quick should it!!! best i have a look and get it down to a garage. Gonna have to clean everything off, is it ok to pressure wash the engine?

I wouldn't do anything except return the car the garage who rebuilt the engine and ask them nicely to have a look. If they get arsey, get arsey back!

Ill give them a call later, problem is they are based a good 3-4 hours from where i live!!! May get a local garage to have a look for me. If its just the PCV valve then i can get it done down here.

the pcv is on manifold under the throttle body, the one with the breather pipe connected to it.

it has got a little shuttle valve in it that is pushed closed when under boost and then is pulled open by vacuum when off boost
