Default APEXI AVCR BOOST CONTROLLER

Hey up,
Just bought an Apexi AVCR Boost controller and a APEXI SAFC Fuel controller for my 98 ver uk turbo impreza. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a respecable garage/tuner to install and set them up, and if so, does anyone know of anyone 'Up North' as i live Doncaster but don't mind travelling......or have i made a wrong choice and should have gone straight for APEXI Power fc ecu (i've only got a full decat system)
Cheers
Carl

AVCR is a good buy. If you read through the manual or do a search on here you'll find out how to set it up yourself. Mightn't be as good as what someone with a rr could do but it'll be enough to get better control of your boost as well as more of it.
Fitting is simple too.
Read the manual for the wiring and check some of my old posts for under bonnet plumbing with pics.

Fitted my AVCR myself and put some base settings, then got Andy F to set it up properly when doing a re-map. Not really hard to do.
Very impressed with the AVCR

Yes you put the correct resistor in the white speed sensor wire.

However although the numbers will display the correct mph you'll always have kph written at the side of it.

LOL cheers for the good luck wish.

No the resistor is not part of the kit you'll have to get one from maplins or something. I have no idea what size or type i just remember reading it on here somewhere.

As for changing it on the unit it can't be done.
