Default Anti Lag Unit ???

I'm tempted to fit an anti lag unit to my P1....
What sort of problems would i encounter ?
And does anyone know where i can get one and what sort of price are they ???

I've seen these wired into the parking lights switch so you can turn it off for normal driving and then put it on for when you want a bit of noise and to keep that turbo spooling.....

anything from nackered turbo to burnt out vavles, unles syour gonna use it for racing then wouldn't bother.

the standard ecu wont have the facility so it will be an afterkerket unit, starting around a grand.

guy i know of had it fitted on his brand new engine build, ran it in, then spent two weeks driving around went back to the garage who built it and said its nackered, they told him, thats because you've been running antilag all the time, and promtly charged him full wack for another rebuild. which was his own stupid fault cos they advised him what would happen if he did that

sounds like it was mapped too agressively to me! speak to jd5217 as he has it and has had no probs. in reality its only for showing off because the performance benefits are so low due to the fact it only boosts by 3psi on overun for road use. having said that i am having it mapped in on a simtec ecu in the new year!

lol, it is fun, but can do very serious damage to your engine, if you use it more then now and again
