Default Classic Starting Problems

Hello, just finished doing an engine swap due to a melted piston. Went to start the new engine and it won't wind over seems exactly like a flat battery which is what i thought it was so bought a new one fully charged and same thing. Turn the key i get half way through a very slow turn of the engine then it just clicks exactly like a flat battery?
Goin to see if i can get another starter to try but has anyone else got any ideas or had the same problem?

Cheers for the help.

Have you turned the motor by hand to make sure everything is in order?

Have you made sure all the earth connections are tight, to the engine, body, and battery, could be a high resistance connection, make sure they are all clean.
