vf28 into MY99 uk?
Just a quick question, would this turbo be a direct replacement for my td04 and would it be a worth while upgrade obviously with re-map, uprated fuel pump and fpr. Already running a full de-cat, k&n panel and STI intercooler.
Turbo is out of a V5 Type R.

Yes, and yes!
FPR prob not necessary. 3 port boost solenoid good idea, as are ported and wrapped headers.
VF 35 would be even better if you can get one at the right price.
Should be good for 300-320 bhp and similar torque.
Intercooler upgrade also a good idea.
Be aware that the life of the gearbox can't be assurred! Some fail, others hold up. Good mapping and sympathetic driving are prob the two biggest determinants
Oh, and whether it's been abused previously, obviusly!
