Thumbs up

You are not too far from Bob Rawle then, who is an excellent mapper.

I suggest giving him a call and seeing what your best options are.

Unless you have a bigger turbo, no point in a remap as far as I can see (apart from piece of mind of course) as they are fantastic figures with a remap, let alone without!?!

Are you sure it hasn't been remapped?

My UK Turbo MY00 produced 230bhp before remapping, and 273bhp/273lbft after.

With the following mods:

JR Panel filter
Ninja Sports Cat dpipe
Magnex centre and backbox
3 port boost solenoid.

270-280 is the norm with exhaust mods and a remap on the TD04.

300 I believe is possible with the TD04 (I read a thread a long time ago about someone who had done this) - but you have a long list of the best accompanying mods to get this and a lot of luck IMO!

Either that or one very very generous set of rollers.

Map will give you proper 'on road' performance and a much more accurate power figure (assuming it hasn't been done already)

5t.

Blinking eck!

279bhp @ 1bar when my very similar car achieves 273bhp @ 1.25bar and without a remap??

Very confused

As I said earlier, after I changed exhaust/filter/clutch/MAF etc. etc. I drove to Powerstation.

They RRed it before mapping - 230, and after 273

Anyone own it before the 60yr old bloke

If it hasn't been remapped then its near enough correct - I think standard peak boost is 0.9bar.

You must have a freak machine - get it remapped!!

Unless Power Engineering's rollers were way out, and I can't see that happening really?

PE rollers are generous compared to dyno dynamics but not that much!
