location of idle control valve MY2000

As above, can you tell me where to locate the ICV on a my2000 uk turbo?

Thanks, just given it a clean. Wonder if that will help cure the notorious hesitancy that cars of these years suffer from.

The MAF can cause this problem and is known to go on this model year

Thanks, I checked this by disconnecting the MAF while engine running and the car stalled so assumed it is ok.

I'm trying to check all the areas people have suggested but am aware that it is a 'trait' of these MY's. Will probably try to source a ECU of a MY99 car.
