Default intercooler question

Hi lads ive just fitted a 2000 i/c to my 95 wrx and have noticed the engine/ induction is a lot louder and just wanted to confirm that this is down to having camco hoses and larger capacity, also my dv seems to work much better too any ideas

Hard to say...

Has your performance / mpg gone down?

If not its probably fine, but perhaps double check the hoses to make sure they are secure - it may be only leaking when under boost

when i fitted a larger/fmic to my fiat coupe 20vt it made the induction very very loud and the dump valve got louder aswell , like you said i think its down to having more capacity ! just check that there are no leaks
