I`m just asking as i have got 440cc injectors on now going for fmic and 255ltr fuel pump has hks air filter and complete hks dragger exhaust system with sports cat and group n down pipe. and them remap but it was what the td05`s were pulling was it 240 or 260? thanks after the above mods also the question is will the gear box hold and bottom end

Maybe, maybe not. I don't think anyone, specialists, would say for certain that they would.

although you havn't said which model/year car you've got at 240bhp or 260bhp you'll be fine with both bottom end and gearbox in theory, assuming its a UK car which is the weakest pistons etc you can get then 350 is suposedly the absolute limit. but stay at 340 to be safe (what i'm running now), gearbox wise its more torque thats the issue, only possible cause for the gearbox to go bang is because of age and wear, but 260bhp it shouldn't be an issue unless the box is on its last legs anyway.

i managed to strip my 3rd gear at 80k runing 260bhp 280ftlb, at the time was giving it death on the isle of man with no speed limits so kinda sets the picture lol.
