Default power steering

ive just gone out in my car and when i put it on full lock it seemed to squeal abit like a loose fan belt it also felt abit bumpy . i cant tell if there is a leak cause its rainning but i think there maybe 1 . its a my01 wrx has anybody else had this problem and what was the cause ? its the last thing i need at the moment as i have to go to my uncles funeral tomorrow i just hope its ok to drive it there . thanks in advance

just tighten the belt a little & check to make sure theres enough fluid in the res, its nothing serious just a lack of pressure that makes it lumpy.

when on full lock the load on the power steering pump is at is maximum.
The pressure of the oil is limited inside the pump this does make some sound. sounds like water running. this is normal.
But it could also be that the additional load on the pump makes the belts slip due to a inadequate tension (like mentioned in previous post)
