Best 3" exhaust system?
Hi all,
What's the best 3" exhaust system for use on newage cars? I've got an 02 model and looking to upgrade the exhaust again but endless green stuff is no longer an option.
Anyone used one of those ebay systems with the "flexi" bits?

Revolution is very quiet. Sold it due to that and being poorly made.
Custom cost £800. H&S Downpipe, wrapped. Meercat cat-back.
Scoobyclinic & Mania do 3" systems.

PM me price bloke...what condition is it and is it full system? Will it fit an 02 mounting, bit worried about the backbox fitting as had problems with buying stuff couple of years ago (think that might of been the difference in 01 and 02 exhausts though). Can I ask why you're selling such a monster kit?

Scooby clinic on the other hand fits perfect sounds great comes with a silencer bung and is £200 cheaper than scooby mania's.

Heres the ad which should answer most of you Q's:
https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...st-system.html
When it was fitted to my car there was a hanger that was not used, I assume this would be the one your car would need although im not positive. Any trial's welcome.

Not so much a "quality tip", but on that particular car, certainly an accurate one unfortunately.
03 STi onwards cars need a different down pipe, and shouldn't need hammering at all. They are running/have ran on some of the most powerful Imprezas in the country, so can't be that wrong?
With over a thousand systems sold over the past 7 years, we get the odd 'quirky' car occasionally where something just won't sit right, Our exhaust range is currently being reviewed anyway so we always use situations like this as an opportunity to re-visit older projects and see if we can improve fitment peculiaries such as this.

I have had two Scoobymania systems, both fitted well and both made a nice noise if that is what you want.
and yes Revolution is relatively quiet inside the car, still makes a pleasant sound outside but definately not boy racerish which is why I recommend them to people wanting a quiet exhaust, nagging wife etc.

Revolution de-cat 3''
Super quiet on the driveway and race track but that's the way I like it, no grief.
The quality to me is great (5 year old system) and very easy to adjust to miss the rear diff and prop center bearing.
Nothing has slipt/cracked or corroded.
Very different to a Graham Goode system!

Hey Rich...
think choice is made...3" no reductions, sleeve and no cats...oh, plus resonator box in middle which should reduce my current droan at motorway speeds.
