Default exhaust induction & remap one stop shop

OK folks, here's an easy one. Take a standard UK classic (218 BHP) and I want to get the induction an exhaust sorted and remap to run on SUL/Vpower etc.

Where's the best place to take it where I can leave it for 2 days max and get it done all in one go. I'm London based but travel around a bit so midlands area would be fine. Oh and I don't want to have to wait xxx weeks.

What sort of power would a typical set up get to? I'm guessing 260BHP ?

p.s. I don't mind a nice exhaust tone, but no mega loud or stupid fatty jappy tailpipes

If you go for the best mappers, you may well have to join the queue. For my latest remap I had to book 2.5 months in advance if memory serves. For one stop shops Mocom in Essex is an option I think, can't think of midland-based ones off the top of my head, getting old .

Darling, I forgot at the time that you did mapping and was very kindly given a bit of a discount by Bob (out of pity lol) to take on my remapping after a less than successful initial remap with another company . Since I was over at Len's to have the work done it just made perfect sense to plod over to Bob just down the M4 tbh . In all fairness I had been out of the Snet scene for some time back in July when I came back, so I stuck with people I remembered from back in the day as being top dogs and I know that Bob will do a spot on job, as I am sure you would have too!

Sorry about that old chap.

I used Bob for mapping my old type-r and yeas he's one of the best but I can't stand waiting ages for things to be done.

I'll give slowboy a call and see what they can do - cheers

I wasn't slagging Bob off in the slightest, just saying if someone is fulltime there won't be several months waiting list.

Well, the new wheels are still round, that's just about all I can say! Have only done about 200 miles if that (car has been off the road for weeks while I have fitted the new brakes and all the other bits) and the coating stuff on the wheels is already cracking off, especially arouind the edges where the monkeys fitted the tyres. How companies make cod like that amazes me. I am lacquering over the craks/chip off bits and have given up, will just get them refurbed and be done with it, only so much time in life to sdeal with this rubbish. Natwest fraud team got my £335 back for me which was nice of them .

Zen are very good.

I went to Zen too, no BS, and if you want a quick, responsive car, rather than just to say I've got xxxbhp Paul is your man. There are a few other reputable tuners on here to try as well though.

Chesterfield is classified as Midlands?Christ I classify anything north of Birmingham as 'Northern territory' . A long trek for a Londoner.
