I've only had my '05 WRX a month or so and just wanted to know how long you have (mile's wise) once the low fuel warning light comes on?

I'm not in the habit of running it right down but many years ago I had a Renault 19 16v and you only had approx 5 seconds once the light came on to refuel before it ran out - as I found to my cost!!

Yep, about a gallon left when the light comes on.
Spookily enough I used to have a 19 16v too and I managed to run out fuel in that.

2 gallons according to my handbook. (that's still only about 3 miles ! ).

When my light comes on I can only get just over 50L in a 60L tank so 2 Gals sounds about right.

MY 94 (MY93) doesnt even have a fuel light, count yourself lucky
