worse boost with BOV
Hey folks,
This may be in my head but....
I have recently "turned up" my Turbosmart BOV. Its one of those where u can make the sound "Softer or Harder". so i turned it full up.
Since i have noticed acceleration seems more "jerky" and feel that i have lost power... Is this possible? or should I just shut up????
Thanks as always

I have read in other threads about people loosing boost after they fit a BOV. Try a search.
On the other hand myself, i am getting slightly higher boost since fitting my forge BOV!

OK this is just plain wierd...
Put the BOV all the way to the "softer" and acceleration is a lot more jerky.
Put the BOV to "harder" and it seems a lot smoother...
So im taking it i have been miss informed that, softer=quieter, harder=noisier... and really its do do with the amount the BOV blows out?
