99plate turbo - what oil?
I have a 99 plate UK turbo, with 58,000 miles on it. It has been remapped, standard turbo and internals, decat and has full HKS system. Is running 295bhp / 299lb/ft torque.
I currently and for last 2 years been using 5w40 shell Helix Ultra. As many people have told me that I am mad using this oil. Now that the car is approaching 60K, do I stay with this oil or go to a 10w 50, 15w 50 oil as advised.
I know this has been put up loads to times but would like some honest advice from people here with similar car, year etc.
