fuel cut due to high boost level, or boost solenoid needs cleaning.. possible reasons.

mine also did this the other week twice in one night, i was giving it some and it was pretty cold so i thought it may be overboosting and then fuel cut, only happened since i fitted a decat downpipe and a greddy boost controller which is limited to 1.1 bar on high setting, i think boost cut is 1.2bar on MY99 uk cars, not 100% sure though. ps hasnt done it since

speciallist should be able to sort it with a manual boost controller very cheaply.. the time it usually happens is as you are overtaking and all power cuts

where are you in the country?
