Default tmic on ebay are they any good

been looking at a couple of the larger tmic on ebay for my 03 sti has any body bought one of these and are they as good as they say they are as im looking at taking my car to 400bhp if not please give your recomendations many thanks shady

Think you will find your sti tmic will cope with 400 bhp

400 will be ok on an 03 sti TMIC. if you do want to upgrade, make sure you go for a tube and fin, and not the bar and plate.

The intercooler you have IS the upgrade for all us folks with classics.
Keep it.
The deeper ones on ebay just draw heat from the turbo. No point.

isn't any, just had mine fitted/mapped up, the power comes on strong as at 3.6k and pulls all the way through (bear in mind im running a vf34 and an aftermarket ecu) with no lag.

While people seem to like to argue about it there has only ever been one back to back test as far as i know and there were no lag issues
