Default Putting an Ecutek remap back to standard ?

I had my 03 WRX remapped by Pat , nothing too major just a centre decat and Prodrive backbox added , so a very similar setup to the PPP package . I am thinking of selling the car and thinking of turning it back to standard , Is there a simple way of reverting back to the standard map , or do I have to track down the Pat the mapper and get it remapped back ?

Thanks for any help

The std map has to be reloaded by an Ecutek mapper. Alternatively if you could source a cheap std ECU and swap that over. I managed to source an 03 WRX ECU for £25 and sold my mapped ECU on to claw some money back.
Swapping the ECU over requires the car keys to be recoded. This costs about £30 from a Subaru dealer or an Ecutek mapper.

Dave, might be worth a phonecall to Mocoms. Zak has my PPP map stored from when I went back to standard. Pretty simple job.

If you can't track Pat down, which usually isn't difficult..

I can reload a standard map.. but as said you will lose the licence etc.

Depending on how long ago it was mapped Zak won't be able to read / write it

Thanks for the reply Simon, I think I'll see how it goes selling it as it is , but if a buyer appears who would prefer it standard , I might be in contact
