Injectors question
Found some 440cc injectors for sale on ebay, only problem is they are phase 2 injectors and my car is phase 1.
I hear you can but an adaptor to make them fit? Where can I buy this adaptor from and how much does it cost?
While we are on the subject of injectors. Is it ok to buy the injectors alone or should I really get the pump and reg too?
Cheers

Injector adaptors
Not sure if you are on a UK or an import classic of if the regulators are different on them from the factory, but I was told not to worry about the regulator until you are fairly well down the modding path, I may be wrong on that though. It never hurts fitting a walbro etc for fuel pumpage and they aren't that extortionate really IMO.
Right, does that earn me a lollipop for at least trying to help?

Haha yeah mate cheers for that. The phase 2 injectors I found cost 120 quid. Plus 30 quid for the adaptor = 150. I have also just found some phase 1 yellow injectors on ebay for 165 quid, so I think I will just go for them to be honest mate, but thanks for the help anyways
As for the regulator. My car is an import classic. Mods are: full decat turbo back. td05 turbo, simota pannel filter, apexi power fc and hand commander. blitz spec s EBC. None of which are fitted yet, waiting untill a few days before the remap.
So do you think I will need the uprated fuel reg or not
Will go for the pump I think

Get the phase 1 440's and definitely the Walbro pump. Adjustable reg can come later if you need it. Only thing I'd say is £165 seems very expensive for yellows if they are second hand. If they are new, they're too cheap. If you can, you want to aim to pay £100 or just over for a set of yellows then another £60 to have them properly serviced and flow tested by Lateral Performance.

<<<<<<<<<<See my scoob for spec. I was running 550's before without any probs.

165 quid a bit steap then huh. Well thats his buy it now price. starting bid is 100, so I might just bid for them and see what happens. Would happily have paid the 165 but not if you guys think its too much.
Not too sure if Im gunna have the time to send them away to get serviced to be honest tho. The guy describes them as been in "EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER"

Sorry but unless he is old school like most of us then that counts as nothing imo. I am in the middle of a nasty slanging fest and paypal claim with a 'rated' Ebay trader that sold me a 'complete and perfect condition' defi gauge set at £350. Also stated as located in Essex.
Funnily enough they turned up over a week later, from JAPAN, had a 52mm boost gauge despite being stated as all 60MM, the oil temp sender was missing, but had the wire that it had been cut from! The dash pod had all the front clips broken off it and was useless, there was more but I could be here forever. You can imagine just how unimpressed I was. He treated me like I was a complete pleb and I got nowhere. After spending literally what a complete set cost new, I ended up with the gauges I should have had in the first place. I have his address and feel like firebombing the place tbh .
'cough' sorry, ranting on....
