Default Brake ducting/plastic liner....needed?

As the title reads....

I removed the air box resonator or whatever its called from the wing. However I am unsure whether to replace the brake ducting liner thingy. Its broke anyway so dont think its doing much!

Can I just bin it?

Probably a stupid question (on my part), but do you mean the inner wheel arch lining (black floppy plastic)?

If so, I'd put it back to keep things cleaner (even if it's got cracks and stuff)

Keep it if at all possilbe?

Have you fitted an indction kit? if so you want the air to be as clean as possilbe - it won't be without the lining!

I dont mean the arch liner. This will be going back.

I mean the plastic peice that sits behind that, it runs from the front bumper to the wheel arch, it has a duct in it to route air thru to the brakes.

Hi mate I removed my brake liner when I fitted my fmic 6 months ago and havent noticed any probs so I wouldnt worry. I just cut the brake liner/cooler from the rest of the inner wing and that woz that so I wouldnt worry about it!

Cant imagine its sending that much air to the brakes anyway. Plus its broken so its even less efficient.
