Default sigma m30 alarm

does anyone have this alarm on there subaru,if so is there any way of getting the alarm to beep aswell as flash when arming and disarming.

yes but you need an installer as all the comunications are done through the led on the dash with a fancy gadget

so i cant just use the key pad inside the car?

not as for as i know i have the same one fitted to mine and there is nothing in the book about it i think its sumert to do with the thacham thing i dont think it would cost much to get it changed
where abouts are you ?

Their is a sigma fitter near me in wigan or do a search for sigma dealers on google they should be able to sort you out if you want the number for the fitter i used let me know and i will pm you his number

i have a sigma m30 and mine beeps. i couldnt find anything in my handbook for turning on/off the beep though. just stuff for the door warnings and window warning volume. does the siren actually work? i think the beep comes from the siren itself and not from a seperate unit. spose its best to ask sigma themselfs though.

ive found this, it seems to tell you how to turn on/off the beep on the right hand page,but i dont know wether i shud try it or not

Go onto the SIDC forum and look for Sigma Sam, he used to be on here until commercialism overthrew his community spirit

Get in the car and turn the ignition to 2, press remote button, then on the keypad press 7 and then turn the key to off again.

Get out car and arm the alarm, you should have a chirp now.
