Is it possible to get a Digital Boost Meter??
#1
Im thinking of getting a pillar mounted Gauge, but I was wondering that if there are digital ones out there & are they more accurate.
I cant make my mind up what meter to get, the pillar mounted 1s look sweet but I dont know whats good or not.
Comments on what you have all bought would be appreciated.
Cheers

They are available and may show spikes better if thats your thing. You could make your own if you feel handy with a soldering iron - just adapt the LM3914N circuit shown in Drivetrain for the AFR meter. It would be 10 segment only unless you cascaed devices.
I went for the £32 black cheapo one from Falkland and it does the job. I chopped the light off the back, drilled two holes in the back and put a cable tie through them and the bit to the left of the steering wheel with a vent for what might have been intended for an inside temp sensor which is not present in my car. It under-reads by 1 PSI but so do many more expensive gauges.

You could look at the defi heads up display digital boost gauge.
Jase cooper has one fitted to his car and it reflects a digital boost graph straight up onto the windscreen...very very trick and they are about 150-200 quid I think.
there are various folks that can get defi in the UK I believe New Age Motorsport, Scoobymania and Nitosport sell them.
I have four defi 60mm gauges in my car and the quality is just amazing.
Exhaust Gas Temp
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
Turbo Boost Pressure
you can find out more about defi at http://www.defi-shop.com
regards
Ian.
