Default Fault code 25 indicates faulty 3+4 injector would this effect MOT emmisions test

Can you help? Fault code 25 is coming up on my impreza wrx 1995 import which wont pass the mot on emissons. Fault code 25 says fault with 3 + 4 injector. Would this effect emissions if faulty?????????? and are they expensive to buy and are they easy or hard to fit.

Any help greatly appreciated

Tom

Default more info

HI thanks for your reply bit of a long story but will try explain.

Had a Mot done car failed emissions test Co2 was 3% instead of 0.3% and Lamba was 0.9 instead of 0.97%

Had diagnostics done found ecu fueling map was wrong and irreparible so bought a second hand ecu.

Fitted ecu and fault code 25 came up which is 3+4 fuel injectors. Gutted

Now i dont know what is going on car has cats fitted only upgrades are back box and dump valve.

The fault code may have been on the ECU when it was on the original car. Clear the codes and see if they come back

Too much fuel will have an effect on your emissions and may/would give false readings to the lambda probe.
