Just picked my car up from an MOT. 10 mins into the trip in slow moving traffic i noticed steam coming from the bonnet scoop. Not much, so pulled over and opened bonnet. It didnt look or smell like oil smoke, but it wa sslightly blue steam about as much as you get from a cigarette. It was coming from under the heat sheild around the turbo (inbetween the intercooleer and brake cylinder).

Got on the phone to a mate to ask what might be up? With the engine off it soon faded to nothing. He thought it might have been water from a big puddle evaporating. The engine temp was fine and checked levels tonight and all ok. When i started it up again and drove 10 miles home, no sign of any steam...... gave me a fright tho. anyone else had this?
