could anyone tell me what size injectors are standard in a my06 2.5 wrx.

Mate at work has one and wanted to upgrade the power a little,so fitted a front entry td05 instead of the td04,sti intercooler and decatted the exhaust.... had zen do a ecutek remap and said the standard 500cc injectors would be fine... i thought they would be different too,but apparently not.

 

What bhp are the 500cc injectors good for?

51wrx Will have 440 cc Standard, good for around 300-320 bhp with standard fuel pressure.

Most people opt for the Sti pink injectors as an upgrade for the WRX, they are approx 550 cc and can flow enough fuel for 360-380 bhp with standard fuel pressure. (would need lots of other mods to get this though)

 

Id check on the 440's fitted to a 51 wrx.... they might be 380's like a mates 03 blobeye.....

 

Possible, was an assumption on my part on how much power you can make with the standard injectors.

 

Mates 06 2.5 wrx with td05 sti tmic decat made 345....... so 500 injectors are at least ok for that level.

Had a spin it it at work last night,drove very nice and went really well,can feel the difference the lager displacment engine has over my 2.0l.... ultimatly though mine feels better to me as its not as refined as the later cars.... feels more alive to drive.

 

spoke to andy f , all new age 2.0 wrx 380cc up to 300bhp & my06 on 2.5wrx 505cc up to 400bhp.
