Put in a decent panel filter, far better and you wont need to remap (plus your taking in cold air with a panel filter and hot air with an induction kit )

Does an induction kit give any power gains on its own or only as a supporting part of other mods?

nothing a heatshield and cold air feed doesn't fix

Despite all the horror stories CAIK's can be a useful addition in achieiving figures over a set level as long as you fit the necessary supporting mods and use the guidance of an experienced mapper/modder.

THE RCM set-up is a great all round piece of kit.

Unless you are pushing past 350bhp there is absolutely no power advantage whatsoever over a panel filter.

They are a complete waste of time and money - Once you have bought it, ****ed your MAF, replaced it, got a re map, you could have spent the money on something that will actually improve your car.

Spend the money on a geometry setup or some other actually useful mod
