ehausts
Hi,
Currently ive got a few blowouts on my exhaust and was thinking of replacing it so ive been in contact to revolution247 about a blitz nurspec r ehaust and center section.
But as im looking to go around 350bhp providing its safe enough on standard internals and with standard gearbox is the blitz the right one for the job or would something like revolutions own be better.
Im not looking anything to loud as the car is a daily driver.
Any info is greatly appreciated from you boffins and below ive listed my spec to see if its suitable.
subaru 4pot conversion
whiteline adj. ARB Front and rear
antilift kit
whiteline drop links
whiteline 4 point undercar brace
sti v5 shocks and springs
apexi power fc & commander
twin mouth decat downpipe
apexi intake system
440cc injectors (will be fitting 550cc ones soon)
FMIC
exedy organic clutch
AP lightened flywheel
Standard td05 ( will be replacing with one of andy f 20g ones )
walbro 255 fuel pump
3 port boost solenoid
SX Fuel Pressure regulator
oil catch can (still to be fitted)
facelift bonnet and vents
facelift grill and bumper
16" volk racing TE37 lightweight alloys

probably be better with revolutions own as they are supposedly reasonably quiet whereas the blitz is supposed to be very noisy.
is it a wrx that you have or sti? If its a wrx and is quiet old then it may be risky going for those power levels on the standard internals imo

Cant comment on the Blitz exhaust but can say that fitting a bung makes a vast difference my back box is extra loud, with the bung fitted it sounds almost standard, l would think fitting the bung would reduce any small performance gain you may achieve????

any more info from you boffins
I take that no matter what system i get with having no cat the car is going to be loud any way so the blitz might be better as it has a bung supplied with it.
Any one out there with a blitz and had used the bung or anyone who got rid of theres for being to loud.
cheers all
