PPP upgrade + alarm fobs
#1
I think that I heard somewhere that when Prodrive install the PPP they had to do something with the alarm fobs. Is this correct as I only took one down there when I had it done and have a spare one that I didn't
Any ideas.

I think that when PPP is fitted it is the key that has to be set to the new ECU not alarm fob as key has transponder inside which will not be reconised by new ECU, does not take long. Just take other key back to dealer. 5 mins approx.

Well thats what dealer told me, but as no charge and very easy to do I guess I will never be 100% sure as never tried to start car with spare key before taking it in to be reset. Was on MY01 if this makes a diffrence.
