Default missfire

hi there i have a 1.6 impreza and i went through a puddle last week and i started getting a missfire which then cleared and was fine for a couple of days and now its back i have changed the plugs and leads still no difference can any1 point me in the right direction as i said sometimes its fine and other times it struggles to do 20 mph thanks

Not sure if the 1.6 has a distributor cap, but my ole Vaux Cav used to get damp inside the cap. If it has one try removing the cap and drying it out....
