Cool, thanks for the quick replies. does this mean the car is one of 2000 if so do you think this is a reasonable price to pay? it certainly looks the part.

It does look nice

Just checked the website and the mileage stated is 45k.

The best bet is to go and test drive it and check everything is in order.

hmmm seems cheap for the STI Type RA Vltd WRC edition to me, has the wrong seats, dunno why you would remove them? I think its only the WRX Type RA Vltd as its not got the STI redtop manifold......just my thoughts i have the STI one 786/1000 btw

No, it's an sti not wrx. You can see the DCCD controller in one photograph.

Though it's been played with a bit. I'd like to know more berofe parting with £8k though. Price seems fair if it's a good 'un.

I just bought an STI Type RA V-limited WRC special edition and as sandyRS16i say the seat in mine are not like that. Those ones are after market. and the RA WRC has a red top engine put so to the the RA limited. Could be a Replacement engine.

yip those are my seats too, lovely they are as well , and deffo its got the wrong manifold unless its been stripped of paint? id try and get the chassis number checked on the subaru database then for the exact model if it was me. if it is a genuine STI then its a good price.....

Defo a STI RA as it has the 2 pot rear brakes and does not look to have the abs pump on the drivers side, under the bonnet.
As for the inlet manifold the paint has probably flaked off and it having 380bhp i would take that with a pinch of salt until you get he full spec.
