The Lateral kit comes as a radiator and intercooler combo, it is a great piece of kit (know someone who has one) but they aren't cheap, can't remember the exact price but somewhere around £1300-£1400 without any piping.

There are a lot of big BHP cars using them so they must be good, most tend to use them with reversed inlet manifolds, i'd love one for my car but can't really justify around £2000 (intercooler, piping and reversed manifold) for a road car.

But if money isn't an issue then Lateral Performance has got to be the way to go IMO.

Hi Andy,

Cutting the bumper isn't done to increase air flow to the cooler its done to allow the cooler to fit.

From the front of the car there is visually no difference. The rear of the bumper is cut.

I fitted mine myself in an afternoon. Other than cutting the bumper there is no body work cutting to be done.

Save yourself a **** load of cash and get a hybrid or autobahn88 cooler. It will cope with 400bhp all day long for under £400 with pipework including vat and delivery.

As for bumper cutting I did mine with a dremel and some sand paper to finish it off.

Yeap you need custom piping, apparently there are to many variations for them to supply pipes for, e.g. standard manifold/reversed mainfold, standard fit turbo/rotated turbo, too many possible combinations.
