Default Am I Bein Blagged!!!!

Well i have an Impreza UK turbo 1994 44000 miles had new clutch fitted at 39000 miles. It has recently started to judder on pull off and when letting the clutch out changing down gears, been back to the place that fitted the clutch and they say it sounds like the fly wheel is causing the problem. am I bein blagged????

thats cool, its an annoying common trait, but honestly 9 times out of 10 its just a "characteristic" of the scoob

shouldnt judder if the flywheel has been skimmed or new one fitted.

They should have told you that you need to skim the flywheel before fitting to mate up correctly

dont know cause cant see condition of flywheel, but they should have informed you before fitting the clutch.

Now means clutch coming out unless you are prepared to live with the judder

would have thought so if in good enough nick for skim or just replace it for new one either same weight or lighter for quicker acceleration

I would reccomend you warm it up and then give it a high rev full bore standing start. This will clean all the dirt of the clutch surfaces. More often than not this will stop the judder. when i had the classic shape,i had to do this every couple of months to stop the judder.
