Smile ignition lights

Daft as it may sound it could be the alternator that has gone.
you can recharge the battery but the ignition light won`t come on and it will continue to lose charge, then go flat.
Best to get an auto electrician to look at it and check it out.

Hope this amy help in diagnosing the problem

Another silly one, Are you sure the replacement Battery is full charged?

Also check and double check that all the leads are making a good connection

An easy way to check would be to either jump start from another vehicle or use one of those battery booster packs. It might well be just your battery..

Check the big (maxi) fuses carefully too. There is one in the engine bay for ignition (they look like relays with clear tops).

If that has gone you wont get anything from the ignition.
